The City of Arnhem has a lot to offer; several quarters are really worth a visit. Of course the historical centre with its traces of the 2nd World War, the Battle of Arnhem, but also the more recent shopping area Musiskwartier and Modekwartier (Fashionquarter). Anywhere in town you can find the hippest shops and cafés. A very nice way to see most it’s beauty is of course on foot or by bike!
The last several years Arnhem won a few prizes; most natural city in the Netherlands (we have stunning parks in the city, for instance Park Sonsbeek, with its beautiful villa, waterfalls, garden, meadow and a watermill dating from the 17th century!), best city center and best event city…
The city of Nijmegen is also well worth a visit, it’s the oldest city in the Netherlands! You will find traces of Charles the Great, the oldest shopping street of our country, old downtown and the newer uptown.
Other possibilities are the Open Air Museum (Heritage museum), Kröller Müller Museum (art museum), palace Het Loo, Liberation Museum….and so on….
You can include in your tour a coffee break, lunch, dinner, picknick, whatever you prefer, we will try our best to make it a wonderful trip!
